This is a hidden gem of atmospheric Black Metal for sure. I acutally wouldn't have dared to ever hope that there would be a band recording in a style as Barrowlands did. I've been listening to Black Metal ever since the nineties and the most important quality a BM record must have had was and is ATMOSPHERE. And Barrowlands have it. Think of early ULVER, KVIST, ANCIENT or early THORNIUM. Best atmospheric BM I've heard IN YEARS!
Favorite track: In the Shadow of the Mountain.
